Upcoming Important Date: “START UP” Marching Bees Rehearsal

Thursday, June 3rd at BBHHS

12:00pm to 1:30pm – Brass / Flagline / Percussion

1:30pm to 3:00pm – Woodwinds

YES – This is the final teacher day of the year. This is opportunity for our students to gather and interact before summer. We will shared important info, pass out music, and incoming freshmen will be able to meet their leaders.

  • Facets of the BBHHS Band Program
    • Learn about the opportunities we offer through the BBHHS Band program.
  • Enrollment
    • Enrolling in HS band means you are expected to participate in both Marching Band & Concert Band.
    • Any student with intentions to not do Marching Band must get this approved by Mr. Ciulla.
    • Failure to do so may result in removal for the course
  • Attendance
    • Your are expected at all rehearsals & performances
    • We do work with our fall student athletes to help the meet both commitments
  • May Commitment
    • Commitment Letter Coming Soon
    • For staff & boosters to properly prepare for the summer & fall we need students/parents to confirm their commitment in participation in the HS band program next year.
    • This is done in a two step process and these actions need to be completed by WEDNESDAY, MAY 26TH
  1. Student Information Form
    • This form will be shared soon. ALL current students (grades 8-11) are required to fill out for a grade.
    • This creates an info database we use all year.
  2. Submission of Band Booster Fee
    • This is different from the District PTP fee
      • More info can be found in the presentation.
    • $60 is due now / $60 due at Uniform Fitting Night
  • FEES
    • Band Booster Fee $120
    • District PTP Fee TBD
    • School Owned Instrument Fee $30
    • Please see presentation for additional expenses that are included.
  • Uniforms
    • We have a wonderful team of veteran parents leading the charge for keeping our Marching Bees looking the best they can.
    • Our students use 3 versions of Uniforms
      1. Marching Uniform
      2. Summer Uniform (extension of Marching Uniform)
      3. Concert Season Uniform
    • IF YOUR STUDENT HAS NOT BEEN FITTED FOR A SUMMER UNIFORM YET PLEASE CONACT Lori Reagan at rgnclan@att.net
  • Uniform Fitting Night(s)
    • Uniform Fitting Night is a one stop shop. It is imperative that you and your student come to this night!
    • On this night your student will be fitted for their Marching Uniform & Concert Season Uniform.
    • You will also be able to do the following on this night
      • Purchase additional accessories as needed
      • Pay Booster Fee & District PTP Fee
      • Sign up for volunteer, chaperone, and other booster opportunities

      • July 19th – Juniors & Seniors
      • July 20th – Sophomores
      • July 21st – Freshmen
