EQUIPMENT & UNIFORM TURN-IN
The BBHHS Music Department is currently finalizing plans for Equipment and Uniform Turn-In on Friday, May 22nd. Since many of our students have several items to turn in for band/music classes in addition to their regular academics, we worked with administration to plan a separate day just for music department turn-in. More details to come!
We had such a great group of students apply for leadership positions this year! Unfortunately, this always makes these decisions incredibly difficult, and we have to take into consideration all factors available to us(applications, interviews, attendance, music checks, rehearsal etiquette, etc.). Please keep in mind that even if you were not selected for a leadership position you can still be a leader without a title, and we are always looking for our next set of student leaders. Everyone should be respectful and sensitive to those who were not selected for this first round of student leadership positions. Please feel free to contact the directors with any questions.

Drumline and Flagline audition information is now live! ALL percussionists signed up for band next school year are required to complete an audition. Since we are still offsite and new Flagline members typically are not currently enrolled in band, we need everyone in our band family to help spread the word that Flagline audition information is available. You are our best recruiters!
BAND BANQUET AWARDS
Monday, May 11th would have been our annual Band Banquet and Awards. Our Band Officers are currently working on a virtual awards presentation that will be released/streamed the week of May 25th. More details to come!
Directors have scheduled the office hours below. This is a timeframe where we will be available for quick responses to questions via email, Google Classroom, or Zoom video conference.

ZOOM CHECK-INS have been scheduled for the ensembles below on THURSDAY. These are times where students can join to see classmates, ask questions, and receive updates on course work/band events. These are not required, but encouraged. We miss you!!!
BBHCSD has recently reevaluated the use of Zoom, and has concluded it is still a safe platform so long as Best Practices for Secure Zoom meetings and the Parent and Student Guide to Using Zoom are understood and followed. The directors have read these documents thoroughly and updated all security settings as directed.

Lifetime Membership Endowment Fund
ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS! A number of years ago Band Boosters established a “Sustaining Life Membership Endowment Fund” to allow band graduates and their families to ALWAYS be a part of the band. Please consider signing up your graduating child and/or your family for the BBHHS Band Lifetime Membership Endowment Fund. BeeBucks can be used for membership. More info available HERE.
